By May 29th, 2011, underI’ve re-installed Ubuntu on Grandpa Alien and he looks better now.
All I have to do now is to figure out if Jumpstart online game will work on a Linux box, and I’ll be set. I don’t think it will. ah well.

Well, i goofed

I wiped the old win XP box and installed Ubuntu. But i gave it the wrong name. It should have been Grandpa Alien, but instead it’s Grand Alien. ugh.

I’m back writing for free again
By October 22nd, 2009, underI’m back writing for free again. I tried to write for profit, but nobody would pay me. I did get a few offers to go away, but none seemed serious. So i hung around them for awhile. Know what i mean?

We went to Atlanta GA. for our family’s spring break. More about that at the family’s website.
I’ve noticed that smoking is running up the price of gasoline. I’ve watched co-workers go out for a smoke and sit in their cars (too keep warm on very cold days) using up gas for no reason then to put tar into their lungs. nicotine into their blood stream.
I recently ran across a website saying the next season of Doctor Who is off and running and is looking good. I certainly hope they learned how to use foreshadowing properly. You use it gently and subtly, you do not apply it with a jackhammer.
Oh, one really neat and simple web site for LEGO Mindstorm NXT projects. NXT Programs. Dave Parker is a genius at simplicity. I love it. I’m checking his site weekly to copy his successes. I’ve actually built a few, I’ll get pics up eventually.
